Inn Between The Hedges

Being a family with an infant plus having an extra family member all living in one hotel room is not easy at all, but The Budget Host has made our stay very welcoming and comforting! We have only positive things to say about them! We have been here for 5weeks and have not seen NOT EVEN ONE bug, spider, roach, nothing at all. That is almost unheard of for a hotel, even thevupscale ones! Our room is very clean and the staff, owners and management are all very friendly.

I had a reservation at another hotel which turned out to be dirty and very disgusting. I called this hotel and the owner assured me their rooms were very clean and even offered to show me some rooms to see if it was up to standard. At this point, we were exhausted and hungry and just wanted to relax. The room was Exactly what we needed. They were very clean, nice and tidy. I was grateful to find a room within our budget at the last minute. Will definitely stay here again! Just because the price is low doesn’t mean you can’t get a quality room.

I left the Intown Suits and was referred here by a friend and was pleasantly surprised with the rooms, management, privacy and atmosphere! Rates are reasonable and the traffic is much less than the previous extended stay motel my family and I were unfortunately, out of necessity, forced to move into during the beginning of the covid-19 outbreak. With the newly renovated rooms the stay has been much much better than we could have hoped for!

I have stayed here for a while now. Good service from everyone and the Manager Steve is a God send. He really does all he can to help out in every situation. Thank you for all your compassion and help, Steve and Budget Host workers.

The owner is amazing helps you out anyway he can and truly is a God sent. The staff is friendly and helps out if you need help making e beds or cleaning the room up. Just great even for the price.

I'm sorry some of these comments are frankly ridiculous. This is a cheap motel in a college town. Either embrace that and everything that comes with it, or stay at a Ritz Carlton with the other suits. No, the sheets aren't Egyptian Cotton. No, it isn't lights out at 8:30. But honestly the price and the outside of the building are pretty telling of the kind of place this is. If you need a spa and room service, either get off your high horse or don't stay here. If you are looking for a cheap hotel close to the city with minimal bells and whistles, then you will probably enjoy your stay here. For 50 bucks a night our room had a minifridge, mirowave, shampoo and conditioner, a table and chairs, and a king size bed. I would have liked a simple coffee maker and bigger/softer towels but overall it was a pretty good experience and the price was right.

They have just renovated and built another building in back . The rooms are very nice . Clean pretty inviting in this building . I'm not sure if they plan on eventually doing all.the rooms but I would say if staying and have kids and a family I would ask for these. Other rooms we have stayed in. Before are very old and outdated and cleanliness has been a factor as well ... For the price in the Athens area for the older rooms at 55 plus tax isn't to bad . The new rooms are 80.00 plus tax from what I saw online ....

For $55 a night it's not bad. The room was decent, beds are comfy, staff is very nice. The wifi isn't the best and the hot water could last longer. It's not far from downtown Athens, situated on the bus line, and lots of shopping, restaurants, and other stuff nearby. I would definitely stay here again. One other plus is animals are allowed for an extra fee.
